Danielle Krysa is a Canadian collage artist, who has a BFA in painting, who is afraid of paint. In 2015, as a challenge to herself, she began adding a little bit of paint to her found image collages and, for the first time in years, she loved holding a paintbrush again. Danielle's recipe is very simple: found images interacting with splotches, thick strokes, or washy blooms of paint, plus a crazy (often funny) narrative title that pops into her head the moment those images are introduced to their paint. (Danielle is the writer behind the contemporary art site, The Jealous Curator.)
